Albert and Bertha married at the Church of Saint Mary The Virgin, Cheriton Bishop.
When World War 1 started, George Saffin asked his friend Vic (Victor Annett)when he
was about to go to England, to look up the Saffin Family in England,
(George was married to Vic's sister).
It must have been love at first site for Vic,`` for he married George's sister whom he
met in England on the visit.
Albert and Victor Annett lived at Wallacedale, Victoria, following their marriage and return to Australia.
Bertha Saffin married Albert Victor Annett at the Church of Saint Mary The Virgin, Cheriton Bishop on the 10 August 1918.
Bertha migrated to Australia after marrying Albert, coming out by ship.
She was pregnant with their first child on the voyage and suffered morning sickness and seasickness.
