Thomas John Ralling 1846-1924. Octaviu's eldest brother, Thomas rose to senior ranks in the Freemasons, as well as managing the local newspaper. He was also one of the Registrars of Births and Deaths, the local secretary of the RSPCA, and an auditor to two local companies!
