Note on Husband: Charles ASHPLANT

In 1911 Charles was a servant to William Reed at Longbarn, Sandford.

In Australia, he started working as miner in Hopes Town, then worked on the railways, in Corrigin, then Bringo where he suffered a bad accident, and was unable to work for several months.

The family then moved to Geraldton when son John was about 10 or 11. Charlie then earned a bit through gardening and odd jobs.

Note on Wife: Alice Mary Tryphena MILDWATERS

All the Mildwaters in Australia descend from a family from Longburton in Dorset.
