According to information received by Viv Fitch from Jan Hearn, son Charles was born to unmarried Louisa Longman in December 62, the birth was registered on 31 Jan 1863. Curiously Charles was baptised 22nd March 1863 at Bratton Seymour as the son of Louisa Longman, single woman, but on THE SAME DAY she married Thomas Farthing at Wincanton Chapel, a short cart ride away.
