In 1920 she was aged 9 yrs living with her parents in Adams, Hilldale, Michigan but by 1930 the family had moved to Lansing in Ingham County, Michigan.

 

In the Lansing State Journal she was mentioned by name in the death notification of her younger brother, Leo Wayne Lancing Smith who had died aged 91. The journal was dated 18th June 2004
