Note on Husband: John CORRICK

John and wife Eliza moved to Street, where they both worked for Clarks. In 1862 John with his family and his second wife emigrated to New Zealand on the Mermaid, arriving in Lyttleton, New Zealand. Eliza the eldest daughter had to masquerade as a domestic servant, as there was a limit to the size of families that could be accommodated on board.
