Note on Husband: John Edwin FEY

In 1871 at Kensington. In 1881 John and the family are at 76 Tower Street, Southwark.

Note on Wife: Elizabeth WILCOX

In 1891 Elizabeth is living at 32 Tower street, Southwark. Her mother and son Augustus and daughter Ellen are living with her.

Her mother is recorded as Moon. In the 1851 census she is recorded as Leious, as is an eleven year old daughter living with her, and her occupation given as Laundress. Perhaps this confusion of surnames and the occupation suggest that Elizabeth's mother made her living in an age-old fashion.
