Before her death Kathleen lived at Parklands, Bradninch. (In 2005 Rachel Wright, very distantly related through Wright connections moved into Parklands, and old peoples home.)

Probate of her will was granted at Bristol on 30th June 1978. She left an estate of £17660. Her MI reads "In loving memory of Cyril E.Drake died 14th November 1971 aged 79 years. Also his wife Kathleen died 25th April 1978 aged 82 years."
